Chilling in Canada
Literally. Headed up to SilverStar Mountain to be of entertainment to Bee and Allie, and to kill some more time before I had to start work. The cold snap just came from snow where and it bucketed down for most of the time I was there. We forked out a few dollars for some kids snow toys and had loads of fun shredding down snowy hills until we got told off by uptight security.

Life's a holiday
Somehow I still find myself out on the road, and increasingly less motivated to update this thing in favour of doing stuff… or taking a break from doing stuff and trying to find some time to do nothing. So if I’m not doing stuff then I’m doing nothing. Capiche?

Here's your update
Three weeks in Vancouver went by pretty quickly. Nice relaxing time, did a ton of sleeping to make up for the sleepless nights in the two months prior, caught up with Allie a few more times and even went curling!

Arrival in Vancouver
It’s been a little over a week now that the ‘couver has been my home, slowly getting myself organised with all that really fun stuff like a Social Insurance Number, bank account, local cell phone number and all those kinds of goodies. Other than that, it’s been a really chilled out time so far, lots of sleep ins, seeing bands, and cooking myself meals fit for a king… a king who can’t really cook very well. I think I attempted my most complex meal ever last night, pumpkin and mushroom risotto. If you like your rice a little crunchy with a slight burnt… flavour through your risotto, then it ruled!
